    Requirements

    For our business partner, one of the world’s largest producers of bricks, clay blocks, and clay roof tiles, we are looking for an experienced and thorough Accounting Manager to join the team based in Bucharest.

    This role will report directly to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for the efficient functioning of the accounting operations of the company in full compliance with legislation and internal policies. This position will also play a key role in new projects, implementation, as well as rolling out ongoing finance process improvement initiatives.


    Requirements

    At least 5+ years of relevant experience in the accounting area;
    2+ years experience coordinating an accounting team or exposure in a supervising role;
    A solid professional background with exposure to accounting and taxation areas;
    Good knowledge of accounting standards and regulations;
    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
    Proficiency in ERP accounting software, SAP would be a big advantage;
    Very good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact and work with all levels of the organization;
    Accuracy and attention to detail;
    English - conversational level.
    Other professional affiliation/certification ((CEECAR / CCF / ACCA) would be highly appreciated;
    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;

    Responsibilities

    Preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual fiscal declarations (profit tax, VAT, WHT, local taxes, etc.) related to companies that are part of BSC WB)
    Ensure direct contact with the relevant fiscal authorities (DGAMC, ANAF local agencies, local taxes);
    Prepares the annual/semi-annual financial statements;
    Making payments based on authorized signatures (TRAX and UNICREDIT);
    Supervises the monthly closing activities related to accounts payable and material management activities;
    Represents the company in the relationship with the external auditors regarding the local GAPP;
    Prepares the transfer pricing files for the companies within the group;
    Supervises transactions related to CAPEX (inputs, running amortization, outputs);
    KEY USER FI SAP role and participants in SAP S/4 HANA implementation (database migration from R/3 to S/4 HANA);
    Prepares documents related to internal audit reconciliation for transactions related to MM/CAPEX/Treasury;
